Jenn’s Las Vegas Insider Tips:

  • Many hotels have secondary (back) entrances where the cab lines are shorter.
  • Take a stroll to the Bellagio and catch the free Fountain show. Shows run every 15 or 30 minutes (schedule varies) and it is a truly brilliant choreography of water, music and light.
  • Remember to pack a jacket as nights can get chilly in the fall and winter months.  In the summer the air conditioning is always on full blast too.
  • For the best hotel rates you’ll want to try staying Monday through Thursday.
  • Take a break from the glitz and glamour and head out to Red Rock Canyon for a day of hiking. Remember your sunscreen!
  • STK restaurant (located in The Cosmopolitan) offers a very generous slab of foie gras for only $15 as an add on to your perfectly cooked steak.
  • The Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon are quick day trips out of Las Vegas.

What Expedia Fans Have to Say:

  • We asked our fans on Facebook when in Las Vegas, what their poison is. Based on the responses, many of our fans stick to seeing shows and gambling. Clubbing came in third with visiting the pools and spas in a close fourth. Visiting the Graceland Wedding Chapel received only one vote!

  • We also asked our fans on Facebook what their favorite Las Vegas movie is. Many fans love The Hangover and the Ocean’s Eleven series but we’re seeing votes for Casino, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Swingers too
